Team collaboration and servant-hearted leadership complete the culture of leadership within the Lead Team at CTEC. The structure of our church is made up of the following:

Senior Pastor

The pastor is the shepherd of the congregation. The assignment of the pastor is to oversee the operations of the church. According to the Word of God.

  • Preach and teach the Word.
  • Encourage the weak.
  • Reprove and warn the wayward
  • Train, equip, and release lay-ministry leaders.
  • Be ready to every good work.

The Leadership Team

The purpose of the team is to extend the leadership of the pastor through delegated authority and assistance in the fulfillment of the vision of the ministry.

The responsibility of the team members is to:

  • Demonstrate ethical leadership.
  • Adhere to God’s word in all affairs.
  • Preserve the core values of the ministry (godly integrity, faith, love, service).
  • Engage in strategic planning to move the vision of the house forward.
  • Review and address critical matters of the church.
  • Review the performance of those having delegated authority.
  • Ensure good management of financial resources.

Our current leaders are as follows:

President: Pastor Carolyn Jolley is a native of Houston, Texas, graduate of Texas Bible College with a major in Religious Education. She has a Bachelor of Art in Biblical Studies, a Master’s degree in Biblical Psychology and an honorary Doctorate in Theology. Her primary ministry gift is teaching, with a prophetic pastoral gift that aids in the ministry of deliverance. Pastor Jolley has a passion for missions and the advancement of the kingdom of God that has opened doors for her to be used in the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Zambia, Botswana, and South Africa. 

Secretary: Minister Karen Hamilton, Teacher/Intercessor/Evangelist, and ordained minister of the gospel. She is a trained secretary who has attained the Certified Professional Secretary rating (CPS), nineteen (19) years of experience in this area, holds a diploma in Bible Studies from the Apostolic Faith Bible Institute.  Karen is currently in pursuit of a degree in Communication. She has served in various capacities as a member of the ministry for more than 20 years.

Treasurer: Veronica Campbell/Teacher/Exhorter. She has a Certificate in Management Studies, UWI Jamaica, Bachelor of Science in Management and Human Resource Management, Diploma in Math and Science Sam Sharpe Teachers’ College Montego Bay Jamaica, Teacher of Math/Grade Supervisor, Marcus Garvey Technical High (retired), and a recent recipient of the Internationally Recognized Qualifications “City & Guilds Top Achiever 2023 Award”.

Minister of Music: Minister Vijay Williams, anointed and gifted for the ministry of music. He is also called to the ministry of teaching the Word of God and he is a licensed minister of the gospel. His professional background is in accounting.

Praise Team Director: G’Shavonne Garvey is an anointed woman of God, with a unique ministry gift and an exceptional anointing for praise and worship. She is also a prayer warrior. Her educational background is a degree in Biochemistry.

Pastoral Support Staff/ Auxiliary Leaders consist of persons committed to stand with the ministry on their watch, to pray, and to help carry the vision of the house as the Lord directs.
