Pastor Carolyn Jolley —a native of Houston, Texas— was saved under the ministry of Apostle Richard Taylor, founder and pastor of New Day Deliverance Holiness Church in 1982. While under the ministry of the late Bishop David Allen Sr. of Christ Temple Apostolic Church, Houston, Texas, she received the call of God to relocate to Jamaica in June of 1998. In December of 1998 the ministry of CTEC was incorporated with an intent to relocate to Ocho Rios Jamaica by the will of God. By July of 1999 Pastor Jolley and her husband Elder Robert Jolley and their two children relocated to Jamaica from Texas. In May of 2000 the ministry opened its doors in Ocho Rios in a rented space in Ocean Village Shopping Plaza in downtown Ocho Rios having only 4 members.

The Lord began to bless the ministry and land was purchased in 2002 and again in 2003. We had our groundbreaking ceremony by faith in October of 2003. We were given permission to start our building project in November of 2003. We relocated from Ocean Village shopping plaza in May of 2004 to our present location at 26 Mansfield Way, Buckfield, Ocho Rios in an unfinished structure. The building project has grown, and so has our membership.

It is clear to us that our assignment is to be a part of a Godkind of revolution. We desire to help bring about positive change, that glorifies God and edifies his creation, not only in our church and community, but in our nation and around the world.

CTEC has positioned itself in collaboration with social development entities, those in community development, missions-minded organizations abroad and our own community leaders to function as a community ministry. We have been blessed to be affiliated with other kingdom conscience ministries and organizations, as the Lord sets up divine appointments, and works all things after the counsel of his own will.

After over 23 years of kingdom building, CTEC is currently covered by Inspire Church, Houston, Texas, under the leadership of Dr. Richard Heard. There is also an affiliation with Jabula North America, under the leadership of Bishop Roderick Roberts, and a local affiliation with Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Kingston Jamaica, led by Bishop C. Everton Thomas.
